Meet the Team

Director
Jeanette Anderson
"Welcome to Anderson's Playschool! My name is Jeanette Anderson, Director at Anderson's Playschool. I have been teaching preschool for 30 years and have loved every minute of it. I had accepted my first preschool assistant position with the Boys and Girls Club, where I taught preschoolers the necessary computer skills. Soon after, I pursued my career in education at Orange Coast College and became a certified preschool teacher. I continued my education at Riverside Community College to obtain credits to become a director for early childhood education. During this time, I spent valuable time volunteering with a local Head Start Program and a homeless family shelter, where I organized and developed their first preschool program. I taught for six years at Edgewood Pre-Primary Academy in Orange County.
I have always wanted to teach children, not just babysit. Once I witnessed how much a child could be taught and how an early academic-based education gives a child an advantage emotionally, socially, and intellectually, I realized my passion. Seeing a child's self-confidence grow as they grasp a new concept and skill is gratifying. This passion continues to push me to help my students obtain their highest potential. For the past twelve years, I have conducted a 36-week preschool program, Summer Camp and Mini Summer Camp, at the Orange Terrace Community Center located in Riverside. I chose the Community Center because it has allowed me to give back to my community by keeping costs low and involving parents in their child's education. Our families' needs are significant to us, and our staff is committed to meeting those needs. Much of our business comes from referrals and repeat business.
Would you mind coming by and visiting us anytime? I look forward to meeting you and your child/children and partnering with you in your child's early education."
Sincerely,
Mrs. Anderson

Teacher
Linda Grandy
“Hi everyone! I'm Mrs. Grandy, and I am one of the teachers here at Anderson's Playschool. Some background information about me: I started my teaching journey in 2012 when I enrolled in the North Orange County Regional Occupation Program (ROP) in my junior year of high school. I did ROP for two years and, while there, earned my certificate to be a preschool assistant teacher and collected over 300 hours of fieldwork.
From there, I continued my education, taking classes focusing on child development and teaching, and I did more field hours in a dual immersion first-grade classroom. I attended Cypress Community College, Cal State Fullerton, and Ashton University in my pursuit of becoming a preschool teacher. While attending school, I worked various jobs, including being a tutor and a nanny for young children of preschool age. After school, I married Triston and spent three years living in Kansas together. While there, I became a lead teacher at BEBE preschool in the Pre-K room (ages 4-5) and continued to work there until the birth of our son Aiden.
Following our move back to California, I started working at Anderson's Playschool and can't wait to continue learning and growing and helping children reach their full potential! I love the look a child gets when they finally understand something, and I will strive to ensure all students I teach develop a lifelong love of learning and the confidence to achieve whatever their heart desires.”
Sincerely,
Mrs. Grandy

Teacher
Emily Cullins
“Hello, I am Early Childhood Education major Emily Cullins, and I am beyond excited to welcome your child into the classroom this year. I have lived and gone to school in Riverside County for most of my life. I graduated from Citrus Hill High School in 2019, then went to school at RCC and Cal Poly Pomona.
Since I was five years old, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, so you can say this has been a lifelong dream of mine. Before teaching at Anderson's Playschool, I nannied, gave riding lessons, and worked at different summer camps. In addition, I have coached livestock stewardship, public speaking, and interview skills to 4-H and FFA members - as long as being the Queen director for the Norco Horseweek Rodeo Queens.
Outside of the classroom, I can be found on my small farm, literally herding cats, chasing chickens, exploring trails with my horses, or lost in a good book. I hope to bring this sense of fun, adventure, and education to your child this year.”
Sincerely,
Miss. Cullins

Esmeralda Rodriguez
“Hello my name is Esmeralda Rodriguez. I’m the primary teacher for Anderson’s Playschool at the Rancho Cucamonga location. A few things to get to know me are I enjoy Pokémon, almost everything Disney especially Pooh Bear, and everything Sanrio. I like to spend most of my free time shopping, catching new movies in theaters, and relaxing with some evening TV. This is my first year as a lead teacher and I am so excited to be in this position. I am absolutely in love with how this school year has started and can’t wait to see what is in store. I love working with the students. I was able to get some on-hand experience last year with Anderson’s Playschool as a volunteer and now feel confident in establishing your child’s foundation in education. Even though I’m just starting out I would like to express that I am very qualified. I am currently attending Citrus College in Glendora and will soon graduate with my A.S-t in Early Childhood Education and an A.S in Child Development. I will also be continuing my education at Cal State San Bernardino hopefully starting this upcoming spring semester. That being said I assure you I will do my best to ensure your child gets a great educational experience while in my classroom.”
Sincerely,
Miss. Rodriguez
