Vision Statement

To provide every child in our community the opportunity for an affordable high-quality, exciting program for early education; while working closely with the families and community.

“Welcome to Anderson’s Playschool! My name is Jeanette Anderson, Director at Anderson’s Playschool. I have been teaching preschool for 30 years, and I have loved every minute of it. I had accepted my first preschool assistant position with the Boys and Girls Club, where I taught preschoolers the necessary computer skills. Soon after, I pursued my career in education at Orange Coast College and became a certified preschool teacher. I continued my education at Riverside Community College to obtained credits to become a director for early childhood education. During this time, I spent valuable time volunteering with a local Head Start Program and a homeless family shelter where I organized and developed their first preschool program. I taught for six years at Edgewood Pre-Primary Academy in Orange County.

I have always wanted to teach children, not just babysit, and my passion was realized once I witnessed how much a child could be taught and how an early academic-based education gives a child an advantage emotionally, socially, and intellectually. It is gratifying to see a child’s self-confidence grow as they grasp a new concept and a new skill. This continues to push me to keep pushing them to their highest potential.

For the past Twelve years, I have conducted a 36-week preschool program, Summer Camp and Mini Summer Camp at the Orange Terrace Community Center located in Riverside. I chose the Community Center because it has allowed me to give back to my community by keeping costs low and involving parents in their child's education. Our families needs are very important to us, and our staff is committed to meeting those needs, much of our business comes from referrals and repeat business.

Please come by and visit us anytime. I look forward to meeting you and your children and partnering with you in your child's early education.”
